What causes Creators Block
So as we sat in the room preparing our guest list for the coming weeks, Michele brought up the problems with creators block. Considering we all have succumbed to this virus some time in our careers, I thought it fitting to converse upon. We covered everything from stress, to just plain old drawing a blank. Ever just stared at a blank page for hours with no form of inpsiration and feeling helpless? How about having to write a script but the fingers don't type? So stop reading and start listening. By the way, share your thoughts....

EP 77 Indie Publisher BloodFire Studios on Catch Da Craze Podcast
Thursday Jun 04, 2020
Thursday Jun 04, 2020
BloodFire Studios Dennis GreenHill
BloodFire Studios is the brain child of Dennis Greenhill and Lee Kohse. It was at the Las Vegas Comic Con in Dec. 96 that they laid the ground work for the stories "Dark Tarot" and "Dragoons". In 1997, both stories were offered to their publisher at the time as mini series' but were told that for various reasons they would not publish either story. After having developed some 5 separate stories for their former publisher already and not having a single one published.
Their frustration peaked at the 1997 San Diego Comic Con when the comment was made that for any of their stories to see print they would have to publish it themselves. And so, in the summer of 1998 Lee and Dennis left and BloodFire Studios was born. Its purpose, to expand the medium of comics and to push the creative edge of Indy comics with fresh stories and original art styles. The name BloodFire Studios was inspired by the Type O Negative song "Blood and Fire" from their 1993 "Bloody Kisses" LP

Politically Correct round table discussion
Michelle St. Martin (Co-Host) wanted to cover the overwhelming need to be politically correct in the industry today. Why are we trying to be so PC? Why do we hesitate to speak the truth with others when faced with having to critic anothers work?
Are we doing a diservice to each other because we do not want to be the bad guy? Can we be honest with one another without the backlash? These questions and more on Catch Da Craze...
